Serial number 75-24 has been delivered to the Army Flight School in 1942.
In the year 1946 it was sold by the US Government as military surplus. Mr.Claude James Wilson from Vallejo, California bought the airplane for $982,20 from the War Assets Corporation.
It flew as agricultural airplane and ended its civilian career in the 1980's, when it was, together with our other Stearman airplanes, disassembed, preserved and finally put into storage, from where we recovered this airplane.
